Packing List Update
We are continuously striving to deliver the best possible support and improve our customer experience in all aspects of our business. Customer feedback is invaluable to us, and we do our best to listen and adapt to customer suggestions and requests. We have received many requests to improve our packing lists and make them more reader friendly. Previously, our packing lists were filled with information that was really not pertinent to the customer or the customer’s order, and the layout made for a pretty confusing document. With our updated packing list, we have made it just that: a packing list! In the past, customers would sometimes confuse their packing list as an invoice. The new version now clearly shows what was ordered, what was actually packed in the box, and any items that were backordered. You’ll notice that it no longer includes any pricing information, freight charges, core deposits, taxes, etc.; these are all items that are not physically packed in the box, so they are not listed on the packing list. The new packing list also lists each item ordered in the same sequence as the customer’s original purchase order, making it easier for the customer’s accounts payable department to match up line items with their PO.
