Wheeler Machinery Co. has announced that VisionLink™ will replace the Scheduled Oil Sample (SOS) Web platform as the primary home for customer fluid analysis reports. The change is scheduled to take effect on March 6, 2026.
The company expressed appreciation to customers who rely on Wheeler Machinery Co.’s Fluid Analysis team to support the long-term health and reliability of their equipment. Routine fluid testing continues to serve as an important indicator of component condition and helps equipment owners make informed decisions about maintenance and lifecycle planning.
With the retirement of SOS Web, VisionLink™ will become the exclusive system for accessing SOS data. Customers are encouraged to visit VisionLink™ at VL.CAT.COM and set up alerts and automated reports to ensure timely updates on sample results. These alerts provide clear notifications when results fall into the categories of Action Required (Red), Monitor (Yellow), or No Action Required (Green). Establishing alerts is essential in order to maintain communication once PDF report emails are discontinued on March 6.
Instructions for creating alerts and automated reports are available on the Wheeler Machinery Co. website at https://wheelercat.com/how-to-setup-visionlink-notifications/
