Our Fully Equipped Welding Shops in Utah

Welding offers a versatile solution for repairing various metal parts and components. It can significantly improve strength by creating a permanent bond between two surfaces. The process also works with multiple metal types and can be more cost-effective than other repair methods.

At Wheeler Machinery Co., our extensive welding capabilities include:

  • MIG: Metal inert gas is a form of gas metal arc welding (GMAW) that is a preferred choice when joining larger, thicker materials. The process utilizes a consumable wire that acts as the electrode and the filler material.
  • TIG: Tungsten inert gas arc welding is a better option when working with thinner materials. Although it is slower than MIG welding and requires a longer lead time, TIG provides more precision and control during the welding operation and produces strong, more visually appealing welds.
  • Submerged arc welding: SAW fuses two metal surfaces by generating an electric arc between a base metal and an electrode wire.
  • Laser: This technologically advanced process uses a targeted laser beam to form a weld between two metal surfaces.
